Smash Grill (Kosher AZ): A Flavorful Culinary Escape in Phoenix

I’ve been twice so far and both times the food was excellent. The PB&J burger had a great additional savory flavor from the peanut butter and the jelly added a hint of sweetness that you could just as easily get from caramelized onions. Highly recommend. The pastrami egg rolls have a light crispy wrapper and are really good, especially with the chimichurri sauce. I don’t have a picture of the grilled chicken platter but that had such a great garlic marinade. Combined with the grilled vegetables and sweet potato fries it was amazing. Kinda can’t wait to try more stuff next time!

Anyone who writes a review under 5 stars is simply lying to themselves. This place was amazing for a KOSHER restaurant, and I live in New York. I was recently in town, and wanted to try something new. My family was constantly asking me to come here & try it out, so we came for dinner. I actually just had my wisdom tooth removed that day, and I still ordered their Midnight burger. It was AMAZING, with 5 different flavors all at once. I was truly amazed. For a small, new business in the Jewish Phoenix community, this place is an excellent choice. Stop the idea of coming into a restaurant thinking you're a Michelin inspector. Thank you again Smash Grill! God willing, I will be back!

After seeing the hype on Instagram, I decided to bring a business associate to lunch here. We both ordered the Brooklyn Smash burger. First off, the price. Not cheap... Secondly, the bun. A pretzel bun and it was over powering, I want protein in a burger, not a pretzel with some meat. 3rd, back to the protein, or lack thereof, and the pastrami, or little bit that was on the burger, was mid. For a burger at this price point, I would expect more. The taste was ok, nothing special. I had the grilled veggies, those we great. My buddy had the sweet potato fries, he didn't seemed too interested in them. The wings were tasty but nothing special and weren't fully cooked but edible. Overall, it was not a good experience, both of us were not happy with a $80 ticket for 2 burgers and 1 dozen wings, with bottled water. *note... ww could not locate a restroom, but a hand washing station is available

I had lunch today at Smash Grill, and I have to say—it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. I ordered the schnitzel plate, and it completely hit the spot. The schnitzel was cooked to perfection: crispy, and juicy with just the right amount of seasoning. The sides complemented it well and made the meal feel hearty and satisfying. The vibe at Smash Grill is welcoming and relaxed, but still polished—perfect for both a casual bite or a work lunch. You can tell there’s real passion behind the food and the service.

Some of the best food I’ve ever had! The pb&j burger was surprisingly fantastic! I know it sounds weird but don’t shy away from it! Everything else we had was absolutely delicious! Don’t forget to order a milkshake which was also spectacular! The place is clean and the service was great and very prompt! Portions were extremely generous! And the staff and owner are the nicest! Ate here three nights out of three nights in phoenix. Thanks Ronnie!
